Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart

Oh baby. Martha!

It's taken us approximately four years, three months, 24 days, 9 different PR people, and one chance run in with Darcy Miller to attain Martha's Friday Fives, but here she is, in all her glory. Unfortunately, she did not bring cookies.

Martha seems to reserve all her humor for things like the Bieber roast, but her picks are solid, and perfectly Martha, as you might expect.

And if you're looking for something to hold while you wait for her outside of one of these places, Martha's new book, Clean Slate, is out now. That'll do just fine.

Martha, seriously, this is an honor.

Martha's "perfect For" picks

Russ & Daughters Perfect For: Classic NYC Establishment 179 E. Houston St.

"The Russ and Daughters Store on Houston Street sells the finest in herring, smoked fish and caviar, delicious rye bread and great bagels."

Martha Stewart Cafe Perfect For: Coffee & A Light Bite 601 W 26th St

This March, I opened the Martha Stewart Café on the ground floor of the Starrett-Lehigh building. It’s a place inspired by my world travels where anyone can come and enjoy a beautifully handcrafted cappuccino, latte, macchiato, or Americano. We also serve artisanal teas, cold-brew iced coffee, and pastries that I’ve hand selected from my favorite bakeries, restaurants, and chefs such as ChikaLicious, Baked, Bien Cuit, Balthazar and more."

Sushi Yasuda Perfect For: Quality Fish 204 E. 43rd St.

"I love Japanese food and the fish at Sushi Yasuda is superior, as is Kuruma Zushi, another bastion of great sushi and sashimi. I find it difficult to choose between them."

Daniel Perfect For: Special Occasions 60 E. 65th St.

"Classic, perfect French food."

Via Quadronno Perfect For: Quick Eats 25 E. 73rd St.

"For a quick sandwich."
