Remember in 2003 when the best break-up song of all time came out and you finally had a voice? Yeah, that was Get Out (Leave)? And remember when you found out it was sung by a 13 year-old and suddenly you felt weird inside? Yeah, that was JoJo. Pop princess, hit-maker, and the youngest solo artist in history to have a #1 single. But what have you done lately?

Now she's all grown up, and the hits just keep coming. Her latest single Save My Soul dropped last month, and it's the full-voice-belting-in-the-shower anthem you've been searching for. But when the songstress isn't blasting through your water-safe radio, she's eating her way through Los Angeles. And today we tracked her down to give us her top picks around town. Check out her choices (and hilarious answers) below, and be sure to get her new album III. available now on spotify.

Jojo's "perfect for" picks

Vinoteque Perfect For: Date Night 7469 Melrose Ave

"I made friends with the spirited owner, Zora, and awesome sommelier, Ryan, and they always show me the best time. Last week I went there for a dope Girl Scout cookie and wine pairing. It's mad romantic and vibey sitting outside watching old movies on the projector while getting progressively buzzed on Malbec."

Rahel Perfect For: Vegetarians 1047 S Fairfax Ave

"South Fairfax is where I always go to get bomb Ethiopian food in LA. And I'm not vegan, but my friend just turned me on to this spot and it made me feel like I could actually give up meat. Maybe. Someday. Man... The veggies are so flavorful and hearty. I love using my hands to eat picking up each bite on the big plate with soft sponge-y injera. I recommend ordering a coffee at the end of the meal too. It's strong but gooooood."

Bottega Louie Perfect For: Cocktails & Dessert 700 S. Grand Ave.

"The dessert case is gonna blow your friggin mind. I can't leave a dinner without grabbing a few things to take home in their beautiful pink boxes (perfect for saving and storing jewelry/whatever else). My fave is the butterscotch budino and the fruit tart. Honestly all the food here is delightful... and you can watch it being prepared in the open air glass kitchen."

Simply Wholesome Perfect For: Delicious & Nutritious 4508 W Slauson Ave

"This place has everything simple and wholesome just as the name implies. Even Jamaican treats like patties on the menu. I love the vibe here and eating in, reading a book enjoying a fresh juice with one of their protein and veggie plates."

Ysabel West Hollywood Perfect For: See & Be Seen 945 N Fairfax Ave

"Everyone working here is hot and interesting (looking) in their own way. Me and my girls like to get all cute and creep on the bartenders and waitresses at night. I also like having meetings there during the day. They change the menu as things come in and out of season. I'll always be in love with their butternut squash tortellini."
