This week our NYC Friday Fives are brought to you by Liz Nistico and Louie Diller, also known as Holychild, and one of the hottest duos in music today. They'll be at Governor's Ball Music Festival this June, and their performance will be one you definitely don't want to miss. You'll be hearing a lot more about Gov Ball from us very soon, stay tuned for very important #GovBallEEEEEATS updates.

Holychild calls their genre of music "Brat Pop," which, thankfully, is not the second coming of American Hi-Fi (although Flavor Of The Week was kind of awesome). Their tune "Running Behind" is everywhere right now, and will be one of the songs of the summer. Get that booty shaking.

Liz and Louie are a pretty hilarious duo, rocking crazy outfits and generally causing mayhem. Don't miss them at Gov Ball, get your tickets before they're all sold out. Restaurant picks below.

Holychild "Perfect For" Picks

Garage (Various locations) - "I used to waitress here. There is jazz during brunch and I would always hop on the mic. It was one place I really wanted to come to but when I was living in NYC I was so broke and just spending all my time on recording. It’s really beautiful here in the spring when they open the restaurant windows to the streets."

Action at the Bar

Apotheke (9 Doyers St #1.)- "The first time I came here was because me and my friends were wandering around Chinatown alleys and we found this gem. It’s old-Opium-den-chic. Kind of the best. I remember not being able to afford drinks though…"

Drunk Hook Ups

Home Sweet Home (131 Chrystie St.) - "Um, I’m pretty sure the ground is made out of actual dirt here. "

Best Italian Food

Bar Pitti (268 6th Ave.) - "I made up this category. But I’m Italian and I’m always in search of the best food, and I’m consistently satisfied with Bar Pitti. Everything on the menu is so amazing, it’s kind of my comfort food restaurant in the west village."

See and Be Seen

The Dream Hotel Rooftop (35 E 76th St.) - "One time I was too f*cked up and I was dancing to loud techno and I had never spoken French as fluently and as fast, all while I was on the roof of the Dream Hotel. I also remember being the smallest one in the room by like, 3 feet."

Holychild's Instagram/Twitter People

@jorgasm3000 - I’m just so obsessed with his style. He’s an icon living in Florida. We met up at sxsw and we’re in love.
@deladeso - His instagram is perfect rainbow-grime-distressed-life.
@angelokritikos - This is my friend and he’s a badass photographer. He’s always on things super early so I love to see what he’s up to.
@jasonaltaan - I like art. He’s pushing boundaries with his photoshoots, you’ll see when you check him out.
@sideara - This girl is just super sweet and I’m really into her style. She’s a DIY-kinda girl, which we’re into: stylist, designer, photo director. Girls can do anything.
