It's fairly common for our Friday Five celebrities to come with several different job titles, but Haylie Duff puts them all to shame. Actress, author, singer, songwriter, producer, writer, and food blogger, Haylie is killing it and shows zero signs of stopping. Premiering Thursday Sept. 8th, Haylie is the host to her own cross-country food show, Haylie's America on The Cooking Channel. Expect stops for Texas BBQ, California burgers, Louisiana po'boys, and everything in between. Also, can we have her job?
When she's not traversing the country eating delicious food, she's home in LA eating at some very good restaurants. Check out all her picks below.
"I love this little French cafe. They brew a great cup of coffee and have a beautiful assortment of pastries. It's usually crowded, but I love the vibe so I'm usually happy to wait. My usual order is a quiche topped with their mixed green salad & a latte."
"This is my FAVORITE little spot to eat at the Century City mall. My sister, Hilary, actually introduced me to this place. You may be confused that I suggested that you go eat at a food court, but this mall is known for their foodie stands. Bibigo is healthy Korean fusion BBQ, served up over forbidden rice on a sizzling hot stone. I'm crazy for this little joint. I always top my order with a fried egg."
"This is the spot to grab a quick bite of breakfast on the go in Malibu. In my opinion, there is only one thing to order... The Lily's breakfast burrito. Always call ahead and order TO-GO! It's a huge burrito, filled with eggs, beans, and bacon. Ask for extra hot sauce, it's the BEST! Your order usually comes with a side of cute surfer boys too..."
"My favorite thing to do is to grab a seat at their bar and have a great meal. Their pear & arugula salad is my favorite! I also always order their meatballs. Make sure to ask for their crushed red pepper purée."
"I feel like an animal when I eat here! Their menu is filled with things like pate, pig ear, and tongues. It is a celeb fave and always great for a good sighting! Plan to step outside your comfort zone, but leave feeling totally happy and satisfied."
