Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks

Today's Friday Fives guest is someone we are incredibly honored to have. We've been chasing Christina Hendricks for this series since 2009, after hearing she selected Il Buco as the location for her wedding. This is someone who has good taste in EEEEEATS.

Unless you've been in a locked library for the last eight years, (whatever that is), then you know exactly who Christina Hendricks is. She's one of the brightest stars of Mad Men, playing the role of Joan Holloway. Mad Men returns for the second half of its 7th season on Sunday, its final season ever. We're sad to see it go, but the US whiskey industry will be forever grateful.

To keep up with her goings on, you're going to have to be friends with Christina IN REAL LIFE, because she is not on any of the popular social media networks the kids use these days. Maybe write her a letter.

Christina's "perfect for" picks

P.J. Clarke's Perfect For: Classic NYC Establishment 915 3rd Ave

"We feature this restaurant in Mad Men (although shot at an LA location) so I wanted to see it in person. The atmosphere can't be beat for a true old NYC vibe. Have some oysters and visit at the bar or indulge in the cheeseburger and parmesan tater tots that I dream about regularly.

Il Buco Perfect For: Romantic Dinner 47 Bond St.

"This has been my favorite restaurant for 20 years. Exquisite rustic Italian food and atmosphere that will make you fall in love with whoever you're there with."

El Charro EspaƱol Perfect For: Dinner With The Parents 4 Charles St

"This is a family spot my husband has been going to since he was a child and I now find comforting and special. Its Spanish and Mexican. Have a margarita, crispy chorizo, and a chalupa at this West village hideaway."

ABC Kitchen Perfect For: Brunch 35 E. 18th St.

"The food here is so fresh and delicious. Brunch is out of this world, serving up oysters and eggs and concord grape mimosas. Plus it looks like it was decorated by tiny forest elves!!!!"

The Carlyle Perfect For: Girls' Night Out 35 E 76th St

"Hang out here with your girlfriends, tourists, and locals alike at this deliciously glamorous historic hotel bar with the stunningly famous mural on the wall and music right in the middle of the room."
