If you follow the world of startups or technology, you know who Brad Feld is. Brad is one of the most well known and successful investors in the world of venture capital, and his Boulder-based firm Foundry Group has backed hugely successful businesses like Harmonix and Zynga. So yeah, he's at least a tiny bit responsible for the fact that you've wasted some of your best years playing Rock Band and Farmville.
Not only is Brad good at investing, he's incredibly well respected for his point of view on what makes new companies successful, and has a reputation for being an all around good guy. He co-authored the quintessential book on raising capital, co-founded the incubator Tech Stars, and is trying to run 50 marathons in 50 states and one on each continent. Somehow, he manages to find time to eat. And as you'll see in today's Boulder Friday Fives, he knows how to pick winners when it comes to restaurants too.
Brad's "Perfect for" Picks
“It’s across the street from Foundry Group, Techstars, and Twitter so guaranteed to have lots of friendlies there. And it’s the best Americano in town.”
“It’s the default place for @abatchelor, down the block from our condo, and always amazing fried pickles.”
“Best restaurant in Boulder, hands down. Probably the best restaurant in Colorado.”

“I love a sushi orgy and Mimi and Mr. Kim always take great care of us.”
“I don’t really care about sports on TV much, but it’s always full.”
