Bringing The Infatuation To Boston Was An Easy Decision

Some decisions are tough. Should you move to a new neighborhood? Should you marry that person? Should you get a dog or a cat? Should you order chicken or fish at this endless, very-boring wedding as Nat King Cole’s “Unforgettable” plays in the background?

But other decisions are pretty easy. Decisions like launching The Infatuation in Boston.

What made this decision so simple to make? First of all, over the past few years, we’ve received what’s felt like an endless stream of emails from Boston residents asking for The Infatuation to finally put down roots in Boston. You Boston folks know how to ask for what you want, and we respect that. Beyond that, we’ve also watched as the city’s restaurant scene has expanded in every direction possible, and transformed into a very exciting place to eat.

The decision to come to Boston this year was made even easier when MINI came on as a partner. MINI’s focus on “more of what matters” aligns perfectly with what we offer at The Infatuation: a resource to help you cut through mediocrity to discover your city’s best restaurants for every situation. Over the past few months, we’ve made use of The Infatuation company MINI to transport editors, photographers, and videographers to Boston, while our local writers have used the car to check out restaurants all over town. Once again: easy decision.

If you’re just coming across The Infatuation for the first time, know that easy decision-making is what we’re all about. The Infatuation Boston will produce restaurant reviews and guides, all with the aim of helping you find the best options for all your eating and drinking needs. Our guides cover both neighborhoods and specific situations, while all of our reviews contain “Perfect For” tags that will help you distinguish between a place that’s good for a big group versus a place that’s good for a first date. And we never accept invitations from restaurants, and always pay with our own money, so you can trust we won’t lead you astray. We’ve built a great local team, and we’re excited to start building a great local community of smart people who like great restaurants. Get involved by signing up for our newsletter and following us on Instagram. We also promise to respond to all of your opinionated emails.

We still can’t help you decide between chicken or fish, but we have a better proposition to leave you with: go eat at one of these great spots from our late night restaurant guide after the party.

Let’s go make great decisions together.

The launch of The Infatuation Boston is presented in partnership with MINI.
