Even if you’re someone who only thinks of cider as a lesser beer alternative for the gluten-free crowd, this craft cidery on the outskirts of downtown Durham will change your mind. It’s hard to go wrong with the dry flagship cider, but it’s the more experimental brews that we really love. If it’s your first visit, get a flight of options like a ginger-based Rhize Up, Cherry Tart, and honey-infused Sweet Carolina. The industrial indoor space is filled with long communal tables, and the outdoor picnic tables on their huge front lawn are great if you have dogs or kids tagging along.
