Highland Tap is one of the best spots in town no matter the time of day (or night) for drinks and some food. The burger is great, the waits are never too long, and the front patio makes for great people watching. Get a side of the kids mac and cheese (trust us when we tell you it’s way better than the regular version), and watch the K-State folks in the bar area get rowdy when the Wildcats play.

Colt & Gray
Colt & Gray is "Perfect For" pretty much everything, including probably eating some duck testicles. Get adventurous.

Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs
From street cart to brick-and-mortar restaurant, Biker Jim's is still as good as ever. Get ready to eat some antelope sausage, and to be really happy about it.
There aren’t a lot of spots where you can get oysters, pad thai pig ears, and short rib kielbasa. Thankfully, one of them is right here in downtown Denver.
Federal Bar & Grill
This Jefferson Park hang has better bar food than you'll find in most other spots around town. Maybe this neighborhood is finally coming around.

Postino in LoHi is the type of wine bar we can get behind: good prices, some food, and a great patio.
For large group outings, head to Finn’s in Five Points. It’s a great cocktail bar with rotating food trucks.
