Rachel Garbus
Rachel Garbus is a writer, editor, and oral history maker based in Atlanta. Originally from Massachusetts, she moved to Atlanta in 2013 for a job in law, upon which she soon realized she hated said job in law, but loved the South. She’s been snacking, sipping, and soft-shoeing her way around the place ever since. She’s the editor-in-chief at WUSSY Mag, which covers queer art and culture with a Southern lens, as well as a contributor at Atlanta Magazine and various other outlets. Her wife is a professional primatologist (yes, monkeys, really!), and her dog is professionally anxious. Find her at rachelgarbus.com or on Instagram @goodgraciousrachel.
