Lidiya Belete lives in Seattle. She loves olive oil, pasta, and her mother’s firfir. She spends a lot of time in bookstores and in her own kitchen, and she likes to go on long walks. Since moving to Seattle from Ethiopia when she was eleven, Lidiya has been living a double life as an American and an Ethiopian. For many reasons, she believes this is a good and interesting life.
