There are lots of Chicago locations of the Original Pancake House, but this one somehow feels the most original. It’s a tiny restaurant that sits between much larger and more impressive buildings, like a little time capsule. It’s cramped inside, so expect a long wait on weekends, but know that the wait will be worth it: they deliver the goods when it comes to pancakes, and they have a great Dutch Baby on special.
