We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. With restaurants around the country reopening, we understand that socializing in any form might still feel strange, and poses risks too. Should you go out to eat? That’s up to you. But we’ll continue to keep you informed as best we can. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at community@theinfatuation.com.

Smack Dab Bakery

6730 N. Clark Street

Chicago, IL 60626

Smack Dab started out underneath the Morse Red Line stop, then had a brief stint as a pop-up in Glenview, and it might have been at the Des Plaines Oasis at some point. OK, that last one is a lie. But the important thing is that now it has a permanent location in Rogers Park, complete with a patio on which to eat their delicious biscuit sandwiches, donuts, and breakfast specials. Plus, it’s very casual, so you don’t even need to put on real clothes to come here in the morning.

It’s a beautiful thing when a brunch place serving delicious sandwiches, quiche, and pastries is also casual enough that you barely have to worry about putting on real clothes to head over in the morning. Head here if that’s a pitch that speaks to you.
