Phodega

Phodega is a counter-service pho spot in Wicker Park that recently moved into a larger storefront in the neighborhood. Besides pho, it has a pretty decent selection of things you’d find at a bodega, like paper towels, chips, and air fresheners. Fans of the original location will probably appreciate the larger space and the addition of a bathroom. There’s even a nice patio to slurp pho streetside. The menu expanded too, with more snacks and sandwich options like the pork belly banh mi. One thing that hasn’t changed? The excellent pho broth, and the fried chicken skins, which are salty, crispy, and delicious.
