Osito’s Tap isn’t particularly hidden (it's on a quiet side street), but it’s fun to treat this Little Village bar like a speakeasy. Do this by walking through its secondary entrance, which is just past the booze aisles of the liquor store it’s attached to, Moreno’s Liquors. Inside, you'll find a charming, old brick interior and a welcoming atmosphere. Friends are crammed into leather booths, locals are chatting at the bar, and there might be a big group taking full advantage of Happy Hour. Their draft beer selection is great, and they also have fantastic cocktails, from classic margaritas to originals like El Oscuro: a smoky Old Fashioned with bourbon, orange and chocolate bitters, and an ancho chile reduction. Plus, their short food menu has tasty Mexican dishes like mushroom-stuffed molotes topped with salsa molcatejeada.
