Nepal House

Nepal House is a small, semi-formal spot in the South Loop serving Nepali and Indian food. They do a lot of takeout business, but the space works for all sorts of dining scenarios. The menu is long, with everything from Nepali BBQ to seafood curries to a bunch of Indian vegetarian options. Their not-too-doughy samosas and spicy momo plates are the best things here, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised by a better-than-average meal of North Indian staples. Considering the lack of reliably good South Asian restaurants in the neighborhood, Nepal House is a respectable delivery option when you’re in dire need of some chicken tikka masala or saag paneer and can’t be bothered to put on real pants.
