Coyotes in Pilsen is open very late, and nearly 24 hours: 9am to 4:30am every weekday, and 5am on the weekends. While a lot of decisions made that late at night (or early in the morning) are questionable, grabbing tacos here is not one of them. It’s a relatively small spot with just a few tables, but the menu is surprisingly long. Besides the excellent tacos, there are a bunch of breakfast options like huevos rancheros and chilaquiles, plus a variety of antojitos and entrees including gorditas, sopes, fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas, and more. But the tacos are the real highlight—particularly the chorizo and al pastor. At $3.50 apiece, you can order multiple and be just as satisfied as if you downed an entire plate of carne asada with rice and beans.
