The Things
A second location of Kurimu has opened in Wicker Park. This is great news, because the original location in University Village has incredibly creamy soft serve, delicious boba tea, and is on our list of the Best Ice Cream In Chicago.
Esmé was supposed to debut last March, but this fine-dining restaurant is finally opening in Lincoln Park on August 18th. It’s a 12-15 course tasting menu spot from a former Next chef, and tickets start around $185 depending on the day of your seating. To make reservations, visit their site.

After only being open for delivery, this new bar in Logan Square is finally open for indoor service. Along with cocktails, this place has bar food like fried cheese curds, wings, and pizza potstickers. You can see the full menu on their website.
This salumeria in Logan Square was recently added to our Hit List, and we’re happy to report they just expanded their hours and menu. Now they close at 10pm, and serve things for dinner like confit duck, mussels, and sweetbreads.
Brunch N Burgers
A brand new spot just opened in Little Italy - Brunch N Burgers, which focuses on (you guessed it) burgers and brunch. You’ll find a variety of burgers and brunch dishes like breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and chilaquiles. Check out their website here.
Art of Banksy
After a bunch of delays and venue changes, you can now finally go see the Art of Banksy exhibit at 360 N. State Street. Tickets start at $60, and you can find all the information your heart might desire here.
Let’s Talk Womxn
Let’s Talk Womxn) is an organization of woman restauranteurs across the country founded by Rohini Dey of Chicago’s own Vermilion. And on August 27th, Lets Talk Womxn is hosting a five-course collaborative meal at Vermillion from five different chefs. The dinner supports Time’s Up and tickets are either $100 per person for dine-in, or $100 for a takeout meal that serves two. Check out their Instagram for more details on the meal and participating chefs.
