Where To Eat For Really, Really Cheap In Boston
Money is the root of all evil, but don’t let it stand in between you and some good food.
You can just ignore the words “coffee shop” in the name Yely’s Coffee Shop. We don’t even know whether they actually serve coffee - and it doesn’t matter - because the actual reason this Jamaica Plain counter-service spot exists is to provide some outstanding Dominican food. It’s the type of place where you point at a bunch of food under glass and walk out with five pounds of rice, beans, chicken, and some of the best, most tender ribs around, all for only about $10. Regardless of what it calls itself, it’s one of our favorite places in JP.
