Whiskey’s on Boylston is a throwback to when bars didn’t really try to do anything but sell beer, give you a game to watch, and fry up some wings. Despite there being nothing particularly remarkable about the place, it fills up after work on the weekdays and on weekend nights when it becomes a destination for college kids and people in from the burbs, so you might want to think about something else if you’re not in the mood to wait in line for an overpriced beer.

Night Shift Lovejoy Wharf is the West End location of the Night Shift Brewery. Unlike the original, it has food, but it’s also not nearly as fun.
