The Glenville Stops

The Glenville Stops doesn’t call itself a wine bar. But what else do you call a place with around 90 bottles on hand, a menu that consists mostly of American small plates, and a lot of contemporary art on the walls? Regardless of what you call it, this is one of the better options in Allston if you’re looking for a sit-down meal that’s a little more grown-up than most of the places in Allston Village. If you don’t know where to start, go with the duck gnocchi with figs.
