If you’re downtown and you’re looking for classic deli sandwiches, Sam LaGrassas’s is your spot. This lunch-only place claims to have the “number one sandwiches in the world,” and while we wouldn’t go quite that far, we will say they’re pretty good - they’re big, they’re fresh, and they don’t skimp on the meat. They’ve got about 30 different kinds and some decent soups if that’s what you’re in the mood for, but you really should be hitting this place for cured meats.
