Oleana stays with you. Three days after your meal at this Inman Square Mediterranean spot, you’ll suddenly be overcome with the memory of one knockout small plate after another - the spiced eggplant, the tangy yogurt, the lamb so tender you could practically blow it apart. It’s small and very hard to get in here, but it’s definitely worth putting in a little legwork to get a reservation, particularly during the summer months when one of the city’s best back patios is open. Just consider yourself warned about the headspace your Oleana meal will take up. Because just like the way you have to listen to a song in its entirety to get it out of your head, the only way to get over Oleana will be to go back.
