Night Shift Brewing

There aren’t a ton of reasons to spend time in the post-industrial pocket of Everett across the Mystic where oil tanks outnumber people, but there is Night Shift. With big concrete rooms, giant steel doors, and rotating art exhibits, visiting the taproom here feels like going to a party thrown by a rogue art collective and their beer-brewing friends. There will be dogs, there will be people sitting outside playing corn hole, and there will be excellent beers, including several options that you don’t see in the liquor store.

There’s no food here, but there’s at least one food truck parked out on the patio every day. If you park yourself in an Adirondack chair out there for a few hours, drink some beer, and make some new friends, you’ll understand why this is one of our favorite spots in all of Boston.

Trillium is a brewery in the Seaport. The line out the door will be full of people coming for the beer, but the food is actually really good, too.
