Le's

Le’s is a cheap Vietnamese place in that big, brick strip mall-type building on the corner of JFK and Mt. Auburn in Harvard Square. It’s almost always busy, usually with a lot of Harvard students filling both levels of the tiered seating set-up. Just about everyone around you will be eating some kind of pho, but if you’re not in the mood, the crispy spring rolls over vermicelli noodles are a nice alternative.

Pho Hoa is nice Vietnamese spot in Dorchester that won’t have to change its name, because it really does make great pho.

Pho 2000 sounds like it's a pretty great kitchen robot, but it's actually a pretty great casual Vietnamese restaurant in Dorchester.

Santouka is a great ramen spot in Harvard Square that kind of feels like a spaceship.
