Chacarero

A chacarero is a beef or chicken sandwich with green beans, tomato, cheese, and avocado spread served on a frisbee-sized bun. Chacarero is a counter-service place downtown that serves them (along with almost nothing else, save a small selection of empanadas, sweet potato fries, and some desserts). We love this spot, mainly because the homemade bread that dominates the sandwiches is so good - fluffy and light, despite its size. If you work in Downtown Boston, get to know this place.
