Bukowski Tavern in Back Bay probably has the only menu in Boston that swears at you, but you wouldn’t want anything else from a bar built as a loving tribute to the patron saint of angry drunk poets. If you don’t want to order one of the “f*cking specials,” settle in with the peanut butter burger and a draft beer (they have an excellent rotating selection of local craft brews) but keep in mind that this place is beer and wine only and doesn’t do credit cards.

Trillium is a brewery in the Seaport. The line out the door will be full of people coming for the beer, but the food is actually really good, too.
