There are Irish pubs that look like kitschy food halls you’d find in an amusement park called Shamrock Land, and then there are Irish pubs that make you want to write poetry and smoke a pipe next to a peat fire. The Behan in Jamaica Plain is the latter. There’s nothing to eat here, but come anyway for a great tap selection and one of the most authentic bar atmospheres in Boston.
