Prohibition Creamery

1407 E 7th St

Austin, TX 78702

At Prohibition Creamery you can get ice cream - boozy or regular - in scoop or milkshake form, making it a great option for after dinner desserts/drinks at all times of the year. But their current menu feels especially fitting right now, with a whole page of hot drinks for takeout. With mezcal hot toddies, spiked peppermint hot chocolate, and horchata coffees - they’ve got the whole spectrum of hot drinks covered here.

Equal parts cocktail bar and ice cream shop, Prohibition is that perfect after-dinner spot when you’re not sure if you want to end the night with a drink, dessert, or both. The flavors are constantly changing out with local, seasonal ingredients, like prickly pear mezcal sorbet or pecan buttered rum. And of course, there are just as many flavors without alcohol - both vegan and dairy-based - because not everything has to be boozy to be refreshing on a hot summer afternoon.

You might not need as big of a cake this year to celebrate your birthday at home, but that doesn’t mean you have to have an entirely dessert-less celebration. At Prohibition Creamery you can get normal or boozy ice cream - in scoop or milkshake form - as well as boozy CBD-infused frozen treats. And if you want their “most extravagant experience,” look no further than the Speakeasy Flight - a trio of seasonal flavors with paired toppings and boozy pour-overs.

Prohibition Creamery is open for takeout, curbside pickup, and delivery of boozy and non-boozy ice cream, wine, and beer.
