This is definitely not a traditional Italian restaurant, so if you’re looking for pasta bolognese, Olive & June is not your spot. The menu is modern Italian small plates - the portions are ideal for sharing to try everything, but not ideal if you’re coming here hangry. (And if you are, go heavy on the pastas.)

The atmosphere is unbelievably pleasant, with enough different settings that every time you go it feels like a new experience. The upstairs bar is great for a casual one-on-one, while the dining room below feels more upscale. And the string-light covered patio is the stuff of date night dreams. Use it accordingly.
