Enchiladas Y Mas
From the outside, Enchiladas Y Mas might not look like much. It’s a lone building on West Anderson Lane with minimal signage. Very little gives away the fact that it’s actually a restaurant. But the long line of people waiting outside is the first indicator that through those doors is a lively, always-bustling Tex-Mex joint with enchiladas, fajitas, and margaritas strong enough to help you forget about the ending of Game Of Thrones, even after all these years.

The inside is about as bare as the outside—don’t expect much in the way of kitschy decor and lively decorations—but it’s the food that has given this place a cult-like following of locals. There are only five different types of enchilada to choose from, but with four different sauces, that’s an almost infinite number of possibilities (we’re not great at math).
We like to get the cheese enchiladas topped with more cheese and a side of beef fajita meat on top. It’s like a savory crown on an already rich plate, and it makes a hearty enough meal on a Sunday afternoon to soak up even the worst of hangovers. And if you’re not in the mood for enchiladas, well, maybe don’t go to a place with enchiladas in the name. But you can also order from a large menu of fajitas, tacos, and tostadas in just about any combination.
The margaritas are about the quality you’d expect from a place with a per visit limit—three with food, two without—but despite the presence of what could be grain alcohol, they’re surprisingly smooth. We just can’t promise that next-morning-you will feel the same way.
