Curra’s is a perfect blend of interior Mexican cuisine and Tex-Mex located just off of South Congress on Oltorf. The restaurant has a neighborhood feel. Curra’s exists in a class alongside other local mainstays Maudie's and Guero's, operating on a steady platform of old Austin nostalgia, margaritas, and queso. The interior Mexican element of the menu means there are more adventurous options beyond the standard Tex-Mex, including cochinita pibil, carnitas, and mole. Their enchiladas are particularly good.
