This content is produced by The Infatuation in partnership with The Botanist.

If there were cocktail list superlatives, the gin and tonic would be voted “Most Popular.” If you don’t know what to order, a gin and tonic never fails - as long as it’s made with The Botanist Islay Dry Gin.

To celebrate the hopeful spring season and support local bars and restaurants as they rebuild for the future, The Botanist is donating $5 to the Independent Restaurant Coalition for every Botanist & Tonic sold during April and May, up to a total donation of $25,000. Here are some participating locations to find a Botanist & Tonic in Austin.

The Spots

Eberly

$$$$
$$$$ 615 S Lamar Blvd

If you’re planning a birthday dinner or want a place to impress your parents, Eberly offers an interesting menu, moody decor, and a great selection of cocktails and wines. There’s also Cedar Tavern, their bar out back with a counter made from a bar that once served Jackson Pollock and Bob Dylan. A Botanist & Tonic goes down equally well in both.

Péché

$$$$ 208 W 4th St

The Warehouse District has many places that are right for a big night out or watching sports. But when it comes to excellent cocktails, we like to grab a seat at the long bar at Péché. They have some of the most knowledgeable bartenders in Austin and serve French food in case all of those drinks are making you hungry.

The Roosevelt Room

$$$$ 307 W 5th St

This place is reservation-only, but it’s absolutely worth it. Plan ahead to come downtown to Roosevelt Room with a few friends to try out their extensive drink list. They also know how to do the classics, if you’re more about knowing how to pronounce all of the ingredients in your drink. “Botanist” and “Tonic” is easy enough for everyone.

Drink.Well.

$$$$
$$$$ 207 E 53rd St

For those who live in North Austin, as well as people who just want to get out of downtown and still get a craft cocktail, DrinkWell is the place. The romantic space is perfect for a date of bar snacks and Botanist & Tonics.

Bungalow

$$$$ 92 Rainey St

Whether you’re heading to Rainey St for happy hour or a night out, Bungalow is a nice option. You can spread out in their backyard, the prices are fair, service is quick, and the crowd is always fun.

Lin Asian Bar + Dim Sum Restaurant

$$$$
$$$$ 1203 W 6th St

Most people are coming to Lin Asian bar in Clarksville for the soup dumplings. And while we are all about over-ordering on the soup dumplings, leave some room for cocktails. Order a Botanist & Tonic to enjoy alongside your dim sum.

Green Light Social

$$$$ 720 W 6th St

The rooftop of Greenlight Social offers the perfect view to observe the West Sixth Street bar hoppers. There are multiple areas to hang in besides the roof though, so allow some time to explore. They are most famous for their adult Capri Suns, but we’re obviously sticking with a Botanist & Tonic.

The Alibi

$$$$ 96 Rainey St

As the bar at the top of Rainey, it’s easy to start your day-drinking or night-drinking at the Alibi. The backyard offers plenty of seating areas, space for yard games, and a few TV screens in case there are some sports on that you can’t miss. It’s easy to order drinks and find a spot to hang a while.
