We can’t speak for our snooty L.A. friends, but we love the Cali-inspired taco food truck situation that Sistahritas creates in East Atlanta off Fayetteville Road. A canopy of string lights covers a gravel parking lot, where you’ll find picnic tables filled with other fans of Sistahritas’s signature Boomin’ sauce-covered tacos. And that fresh, creamy, and tangy Boomin' sauce makes an appearance on their Dirty Fries, which is an absolute show stealer since you almost forget you’re eating deep fried potatoes. Sure, you can add a protein like steak or shrimp to top those fries. But as folks say, the secret’s in the sauce. And they mean it at Sistahritas.
