Better known to most Atlantans as the Sweet Auburn Curb Market, the O4W farmers market and food hall has a great track record for launching food empires. Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Bell Street Burritos, and Sweet Auburn Barbeque got their storybook starts in the stalls of this historic market. And current vendors like Afrodish and Tijuana Tacos continue to keep the lunch crowds coming for spicy curried goat, juicy birria tacos, and other tempting dishes. Although the city's newer, fancier food halls get most of the attention these days, residents cherish this unpolished market for its roots as a curb market for Black vendors.
