Milk and Honey Restaurant
Milk & Honey's Cascade location is in a shopping center, which works in the DC transplant's favor—the big, flower-covered step and repeat outside the entrance stands out boldly enough to lure you away from mundane tasks and into the all-day brunch spot. The inside isn’t as showy and gives classic neighborhood diner vibes, with a few small tables and a larger outdoor patio that invites you to pull up to an iron table and take your time processing the vast menu. You'll find seafood options from crab cakes to seafood hash and a lobster gumbo pot pie, but we really come here for the waffles. If you can’t commit to taking one down on your own, we highly recommend sharing the original cinnamon-infused, the red velvet, or the key lime waffle, or get a combo of two flavors if you're torn.
