For the past month, our team at The Infatuation and Zagat, in partnership with non-profit organization The Migrant Kitchen, has been working to ensure that food insecurity wouldn’t prevent anyone from exercising their right to vote.
Thanks to the generous contributions from more than 4,000 individuals, The Migrant Kitchen led the charge and served nearly 41,000 meals on Election Day. We did that across nine states, with locations at over 65 polling sites in 18 cities.
From Philadelphia to Phoenix, New York to Los Angeles, Miami to Dallas, and many places in between, Feed The Polls contributed to a record voter turnout, with more than 350 volunteers handing out meals and snacks to voters, poll workers, and communities across the country.
All in, we raised more than $533,000.
Huge thanks to our sponsors: leading plant-based protein brand, Lightlife, non-profit organization A Well-Fed World, Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins, youth mental wellness nonprofit Born This Way Foundation, premium beverages Runa and ever & ever, organic wine and canned cocktail company Drink Ramona, and restaurant brand The Habit Burger Grill.
We can’t thank you enough for turning out to support this important initiative.
