The original Two Hands is on Mott Street in Nolita, and is best known for its photogenic avocado toast and acai bowls. It’s a great place to hang out over a coffee and some food, and boy does every blogger/photographer/creative director in downtown Manhattan know it.

The newer Tribeca Two Hands isn’t a replica of the original - it’s more of a grown-up cousin. To start, they serve dinner and liquor here, and the menu is a bit more advanced. At dinner, you can have a roast chicken or burrata, and at lunch there’s a burger and a beet-cured salmon bowl. You can still get an avocado toast, but it’s going to have pickled chiles on it. It’s predictably a bit of a sh*tshow during weekend brunch here, but we enjoy it a lot for a weekday breakfast or lunch, or an easy neighborhood dinner any day of the week.
