Food Hall at SoJo Spa Club
Driving through Lincoln Tunnel to get across the Hudson feels like a cosmic punishment, and there are only a handful of good reasons to do it. SoJo Spa Club is one of them. This Korean spa in Edgewater, New Jersey has four floors of saunas and pools, as well as a rooftop infinity pool with a perfect view of the Manhattan skyline. There’s also a food hall, because after that exhausting steam room session, you’ll need some sustenance.
Robes on, head to SoJo’s dining area before hitting the salt saunas. If you’re looking for your typical spa food, they’ve got an extensive juice bar, protein-packed sandwiches, and, the king of all spa foods: the poke bowl. But don’t leave without trying some of their Korean-leaning dishes. The sirloin bulgogi has something from all five food groups, including vermicelli noodles, greens, and enoki mushrooms. Get some fried vegetable dumplings on the side, and enjoy looking back at New York beyond the huge windows.
