This seasonal (May-October) outdoor bar has a bunch of umbrella-covered tables that might make you think you’re in Madison Square Park, except for the fact that you can see the Hudson River and New Jersey. It’s a good spot to day drink with a big group, but there’s no table service - you’ll be notified by a buzzer when your order is ready at the counter.
The Dead Poet is a solid neighborhood bar with both daytime and late-night Happy Hours.
If you’re looking for a place to hang out, drink, and play board games on the UWS, e’s Bar is your very best option. Added bonus: they serve food.
Pier A Harbor House is one of the best dining al fresco restaurants in NYC, complete with a view of the Statue Of Liberty and a massive outdoor/patio situation.
