Mama Jo has been serving eggs and spanakopita on the corner of 47th and Park for more than 30 years. Shortly after she opens her Greek-ish breakfast cart at 4am, early workers get first dibs on everything from donuts and BECs to homemade olive bread and prossopita, stuffed with vegetables from Jo's own garden. (Vegan options are also available.) By 7:30am, a long line of bankers, lawyers, and execs fills in—and all the regulars have also called in their orders. Expect to wait 15-20 minutes, or just go when the rush is over, sometime before she closes at 11am.
