Char Sue is a casual little Asian fusion spot on the LES, and the food is truly all over the place. They do Chinese ribs, Japanese curry, Vietnamese sausage, Thai salad, and some other things like beef tacos in egg roll shells. As you can tell from the trendy neon sign in the window, this place is modern and casual, and it’s the sort of spot where you’d grab a quick dinner before hitting up some nearby bars. Some of the small plates you can skip (like the ribs and the duck wings), but you should be pretty safe with the mains. Have something like the lamb curry over rice, then get on with your night of drinking.
