Bonnie Vee is a bar on the LES that doesn’t get too crazy. It’s a little neighborhood spot, and they make some good drinks, but you won’t find anyone dancing here. Grab a seat in the corner and drink a frozen cocktail. And if the weather is nice, check out the backyard.
Freehold is a coffeeshop/workspace by day and a bar by night. They have a great backyard, but expect crowds on peak nights.
If it’s a weekend, and you need somewhere to dance in Bushwick, try Mad Tropical. It’s a divey bar with a tropical theme, a dance floor, and tacos.
Yours Sincerely is a bar in Bushwick with cocktails on tap that come in graduated cylinders and a great Happy Hour.
