The best tacos at the Grand Central Market also happen to be the most over-the-top ones. Villa’s Tacos’ has a more-is-more approach to their signature quesatacos, with Dodger-blue corn tortillas and razor-thin cheese crusts that crackle in your mouth. And that’s just the beginning. There’s diced onions, cilantro, crema, cotija, guacamole, and mesquite-grilled proteins piled on top of these tortillas. A bit messy? Yep, but delicious. If it’s your first visit and you’re indecisive, get the Villa’s Trio that comes with one ranchera (flap steak), one spicy potato-chorizo, and one black bean and smoky chicken. Just be cautious with Villa’s delicious mango habanero salsa—it’s not to be taken lightly.
