We don’t claim to know very much about women’s fashion, although we do know this – ladies love bags. The more expensive, the better. Rebecca Minkoff knows this too. Her initial breakthrough came thanks to a bag she called “The Morning After” bag which we can only assume is popular with those ladies making a habit of not waking up in their own beds who had grown tired of doing the walk of shame. What started out as a brand run out of her apartment, Rebecca Minkoff has has quickly grown to become the #1 independent accessories designer in the United States. In addition to bags, accessories and shoes, Rebecca now has a full apparel line and recently launched a men’s line too. Bottom line, she’s killing it. Score one for the good guys.
A couple months ago, we actually wound up at Rebecca’s fashion show during the most recent NYFW. Stang was modeling her new men’s line. Ha. No, actually one of our artists was performing on the runway as the models walked the down strutting their stuff. It was pretty surreal and an impressive integration of the arts. Speaking of “art,” Rebecca not only has love for the fashion and music variety, but fancies the culinary side as well.

We are told that 65% of the people who read Immaculate Infatuation are female (by scientists). And since 100% of females watch Bravo religiously (also science), we’re confident there’s a good chance you’re familiar with Brad Goreski. For the other 35%, here’s the deal. Brad is an upstart celebrity stylist (yes, that’s a profession) who […]
As we’re all well aware, Mexican food in Manhattan generally blows. Empellon hasn’t come to save the day, but it isn’t adding to the problem either. While nothing blew us away, the food was solid with the good outweighing the bad.
Despite being well known for Celebrity Sightings, it’s the food, Bar Pitti’s classic Italian dishes, that’s the real draw.
