The Turkey Leg Ball Recap
Well…it happened. We managed to throw our first ever event without burning anything down. We had a great time and want to thank every one of you who bought a ticket and came out to hang with us. It was very cool and very humbling to meet so many of you who read our site on a regular basis. Hopefully you had as good of a time as we did. Also, Infatuation Nation happens to be a ridiculously good looking bunch. Nice work people.
We definitely learned a few things from this first go-round that will help us make the next one even better. First of all, venue capacities should be treated like a suggestion, rather than a rule. We definitely could have put more people in that room. Second, don’t buy massive, one hundred pound pumpkins to serve soup out of. Those didn’t make it much past the elevators. And finally, don’t ever, ever go to the K-Mart in Penn Station looking for last minute kitchen supplies. Actually, don’t ever go there for anything.
We also want to thank our sponsors one last time. Also, apt4 food & wine killed it, and happen to be a hilarious crew of extremely talented people.
