Not long ago, we got a phone call that went something like this: “Hey, would you guys be into the idea of traveling to a few cities for the sole purpose of eating excellent food and drinking bourbon? You’ll just need to write about it for Gizmodo.”
Pretty sure we booked our flights within ten minutes of hanging up the phone. We barely even packed.
And just like that, The Knob Creek Taste Experience on Gizmodo was born. We were hoping to call it “Stang & Steinthal’s Excellent Adventure,” but legal wouldn’t let that fly. We ate the sh*t out of three cities in seven days, and here’s what we have to show for it.
