For the second year in a row, we took over Foreign & Domestic for a night during South By Southwest and, for the second year in a row, it was the best night of our trip. We partnered with our friends at Paige Denim this year and hosted our #SmokeAndDenim dinner for 50 people on Monday, March 11th. For this year’s outing, we smoked a whole 90 pound hog, whiskers and everything, and there were all kinds of other excellent Foreign & Domestic eats on display as well. We also brought in a couple great local wineries to pour in order to prove that not all beverages in Austin are best drank from a boot. Some should be drank from a bucket. With a stem.
We put together a great crew for the festivities and we like to think it was one of the hottest seats at SXSWi. Check below for pics from the dinner. That pig was so big, so black, and so delicious. See you next year, Foreign & Domestic.
